The Oklahoma Lottery Self-Exclusion Program (SEP) is a voluntary, responsible gambling option designed to support individuals who feel they may be experiencing problem gambling behavior. By choosing to enroll, participants take an important step toward reducing their incentive to play lottery games.
Participation in the SEP restricts individuals from:
Cashing lottery prizes over $600
Accessing the Oklahoma Lottery Players Club
Receiving any digital or electronic communications from the Oklahoma Lottery
This program aligns with similar self-exclusion options available in other states for both casino and lottery gaming. Oklahoma also offers casino self-exclusion through various tribal casinos and the Oklahoma Council on Problem Gambling.

Why Offer a Self-Exclusion Program?
Providing a Self-Exclusion Program demonstrates the Oklahoma Lottery’s ongoing commitment to responsible gambling. SEP gives individuals a meaningful, proactive tool to limit their access to lottery products and helps protect those who may be struggling with gambling-related issues.
How the SEP Works
1. Enrollment Individuals seeking to self-exclude will submit a completed, notarized, legally binding SEP agreement to the Lottery. Important enrollment guidelines:
Enrollment is voluntary and is a lifetime self-ban
Only the individual seeking self-exclusion may enroll.
Valid identification is required at the time of submission.
Third parties—including family members, friends, or loved ones—cannot enroll someone else.
2. Agreement Terms By signing the SEP agreement, participants acknowledge and accept that they will:
Be prohibitated from claiming prizes over $600
Lose access to the Oklahoma Players Club
No longer recieve emails, text, or digital information from the Oklahoma Lottery
3. Confidential Database & Prize Pocessing The Lottery maintains a confidential database of all SEP participants. When an enrolled individual attempts to claim a prize over $600:
Prize payment will be denied, and
The prize amount will be placed into the Lottery's Unclaimed Prizes Fund
